Today, I became obsessed with looking up at the canopy. So much so the ground below was of no interest. Until I tripped over a log and knocked my knee on a stone. Then the ground became subject of my fury. Why is it that pain incites anger. Do we need someone or something to blame but ourselves.
I’m going off track, back to the canopy of lush green towering above. I at once feel small in the trees, awestruck and at their command I gaze upwards. The palm fronds lawfully abide to Fibonacci with a precision I’ve never seen before. Tramping further, the trees get denser and pines mix with palms.
